CHARGES
& COSTS
The charges and other cost of buying a piece of property are
often not fully considered when searching for a home in the
Sun. Legal costs and Bank charges are probably the first things
you hear about. After these are the taxes and maintenance
costs.
No
matter where you buy there are various costs and it is very
important you know all of these before you decide on a particular
location. The home you choose will also influence some of
these costs.
In
some countries it is cheaper to buy than others for example,
USA do sales through and escrow company and you can avoid
the legal costs. The ongoing costs such as Home owners Fees
/ maintenance charges may in some countries offset this factor.
It
is not our intention to encourage you to buy in any particular
Country or location, you'll be the only judge of that.
Utility
charges such as telephone hook up an electrical connection
are other things to remember. You will pay for
water , garbage collection and probably landscape maintenance.
Sometimes these are included in a monthly charge called maintenance
or Homeowners fees, but make sure.!

charges, document fees, prepaid interest and property taxes.
Unless, these charges are rolled into the loan, they must
be paid when the home is closed.
closing
costs, which can average 2 to 3 percent of a total home purchase
price, are often more costly than many buyers expect. But
there are some ways to save
*
Negotiate with the seller to pay all or part of the closing
costs. The lender must agree to this as well as the seller.
Closing
costs are either paid by the home seller or home buyer. It
